It’s been some time since we last seen or heard from the sister rock trio Haim. Back in the studio working on the follow-up to their excellent 2013 debut Days Are Gone, in a new tweet they’ve revealed that this year they’re ready to share some new music.
“We’ve just been in the studio so long, perfecting and trying to get it right. At this point we just want to go out there and play the songs live,” the band said in an Instagram post Tuesday that teased new music and the tour.
The first leg of the trek kicks off May 17th at Santa Ana, CA’s The Observatory and working their way eastward to headline shows and festival stops at Bonnaroo, Governor’s Ball, Lollapalooza, Oshega and more. The news comes after Haim spent a portion of 2015 serving as the opening act for BFF Taylor Swift’s 1989 Tour.
Pre-sale is available now at Songkick, with general on-sale to follow April 1st.
