Justin Bieber Cancels Fan Meet-And-Greets
“Never want to disappoint, but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised.”
Justin Bieber just dropped a bomb on his Beliebers, effective immediately, fan meet-and-greets have unexpectedly been cancelled.
Currently on his multi-city world tour, the Purpose popstar shared a post on his Instagram last night following his Los Angeles show, saying he would be cancelling due to feeling “drained and unhappy” from other people’s “spiritual energy.” Further explaining, he leaves “feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression.”
Bieber’s management on the other hand had a different reasoning for the cancellation, which reportedly cost $2,000, citing a “security incident” led the team to rethink the idea. A “VIP hangout” has been touted as an option. “This is a new tour with new venues almost every night and still a changing process, but we have decided for the time being that this is our best course of action,” management explained in a note tweeted overnight.
Bieber’s 114-show world tour moves to the Garden Arena at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday (March 25). He’s set to play the final of three shows at L.A.’s Staples Center tonight.
