Each year music fans and tech industry insiders re-evaluate how they are consuming media and culture. And this year, a number of women are making their voices heard as innovators, creators and leaders of the future.

Meet Suzy Ryoo, Atom Factory’s Venture Partner and VP of Technology & Innovation.

Embracing all things technology, entertainment and culture, the 28-year-old millennial visionary is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities, Atom Factory’s diverse portfolio, and curating new artist implementations.

Joining REVOLT’s annual Revolt Music Conference last year, with her SMASHD Labs team and enthused intern development program, Suzy described the venture as “an aspirational, inspirational platform.” Connecting “technology, culture, and hustle” to serve artists and entrepreneurs, SMASHD magazine is an introspective portfolio of the present and a sound off to the future.

Breaking ground not only as a woman, but as a young minority, Suzy said, “I am a minority, in that I am an Asian American woman, and there’s not that many women in general in technology and venture capital. So to have this role and responsibility is super important to me.”

Important and inspiring above all.
