Flatbush ZOMBiES Mosh, Protest Donald Trump At SXSW

The Fader Fort was on tilt after the Brooklyn trio put it down.

On day two of the music portion of South by Southwest Flatbush Zombies gave one hell of show. The Brooklyn trio performed hits fresh off of their high charting debut album 3001: A Laced Odyssey, as well as some other bangers from previous projects.

The Zombies had Fadar Fort on smash encouraging everything from mosh pits to telling all of their fans not to vote for Donald Trump. It’s no surprise that the high energy group had the crowd pumped but the audience lost it when the beat dropped and they performed their psychotropic hit, “Don’t Do Drugs Kids.”

If it’s one thing the Flatbush crew know how to do, it’s force you to engage in what may be the best time of your life. It wasn’t until Meechy Darko let the audience know that they would end the show if we didn’t form a mosh pit right then and there, that I knew things were about to get crazy. One by one Meech, Juice and Erick jumped from the stage into the mosh pit causing nothing but positive energy and body contact amongst the crowd.

After 20 minutes of fun the hip-hop trio ended their show spreading nothing but love and positivity. “I love very single one of you. Black, White, Chinese, Spanish. Everybody needs to motherfucking love each other man,” stated Juice.

Flatbush Zombies are set to kick off their largest tour to date on March 24th in New Haven, CT. They recently released their first album,3001: A Laced Odyssey, which landed a number one spot on iTunes and the number three album in the country on iTunes’ overall chart.
