Well, he predicted “sensational” and last night (March 5) Future, the hottest rapper in the game, gave the people just that.
For his Saturday Night Live debut, the musical guest wore the word “sensational” like it was one of his many diamond-studded bracelets dangling on each flick of the wrist, performing a doubled dose of standout performances to songs like “Low Life” and “March Madness.”
He dripped on ’em for the first number of the night, appearing in a fur-lined hooded parka with SNL alum The Weeknd for the first live performance of “Low Life.” The song appears on Future’s chart-topping album, EVOL.
For the second set, Future Hendrix came alive and delivered a rock-tinged rendition of “March Madness,” which by far was the winner amongst the two performances.
Overall, the night was yet another notch on Future’s belt, as the rap star continues a yearlong streak that is nothing short of, you guessed it, sensational.
