The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’s five-year-old toddler, Egypt Daoud Dean.

Taking a break from kindergarten life, which usually involves nap time and some Team Umizoomi episodes, the young tyke squeezed in some time from out of his daily schedule to produce some heat for Kendrick Lamar’s untitiled unmastered.

Credited for the second-half of track seven, “untitled 07 l 2014 – 2016,” the young producer earned a shoutout from the Grammy Award-winning star, in addition to his vocals also earning a spotlight on the track.

“This is the best Dad moment everrrrr!!!,” a proud Swizz Beatz wrote on Instagram, while wife Alicia Keys wrote, “He got up that morning humming a melody….. We went to the piano to find it….he picked it out by ear….he loves to play…. I know that feeling👌🏽👌🏽 Congratulations Egypt for practicing and learning and trying and listening to the music in your heart! [sic].”

The collaboration finds the youngster following in the footsteps of his parents, who both started out in the music biz at a young age. Swizz was about 16-years-old when he overpowered the music industry with his hard-edged beats for the likes of Jay Z, DMX and the Ruff Ryders family. Alicia Keys was 14 when she began writing music, and inked her first recording contract, with Columbia Records, at 16.

Now with young Dean following suit with his first major production credit placement, the apple clearly does not fall far from the tree.

Listen to Egypt’s contribution on K. Dot’s untitled unmastered. now on iTunes.
