Judge Orders 50 Cent Back To Bankruptcy Court For Instagram Cash Antics
The rapper has been ordered back to court.
Is it ‘I got money,’ like his 2007 hit, or the past tense? Either way, a judge has ordered 50 Cent back to bankruptcy court to go over his funds after a few questionable Instagram posts.
“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case,” Judge Nevins told 50 Cent’s lawyers at a hearing on Thursday (February 18) in Hartford, Connecticut. Questions have been raised due to several IG photos posted by the rapper featuring wads of cash. “There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”
Over the past couple of months, Fif has been dealing with an ongoing bankruptcy case. At the crux of the matter about his current financial status are three photos that he’s posted several months ago.
The rapper’s lawyers released a statement on Friday (February 19), stating that he would be “forthcoming and transparent with all creditors,” and appear in court to discuss the judge’s questions.
