Stanley Kubrick. Ye. Cray.

The audio of Kanye West’s initially alleged, but now revealed, freak-out at Saturday Night Live has surfaced online.

Earlier this week, Page Six reported about a meltdown that occurred prior to ‘Ye hitting the Studio 8H stage last Saturday (February 13). The frustration appeared to be over last-minute changes to his stage set-up.

So, just like the alternate version of “Wolves” earlier today (February 17), audio from the incident made its way to the web and features ’Ye expressing his frustration with the stage among other things. “Look at that s–t, they took my f–kin’ stage off SNL without asking me,” he can be heard saying in the audio. “Now I’m bummed. That and Taylor Swift. Fake ass. Now we’re gonna do this. We’re breaking the motherf–king Internet.” The explicit stream of consciousness also finds the “Real Friends” rapper stating that he’s more influential than Pablo Picasso, Stanley Kubrick and Paul the Apostle by “50 percent.”

“Are they f—–g crazy? Whoa by 50 percent… Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f—–g Picasso and Escobar,” he says. “By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. By 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years. Stanley Kubrick, ‘Ye.”

No word on who leaked the alleged audio, but clearly it was someone from inside. One circulating report indicated that this audio was captured as Kanye was speaking with members of his entourage and not the staff of SNL. In fact, in that same report it was said that “Kanye was seen hugging Lorne Michaels just before the goodnights and he stayed afterwards to chat with the staff and the cast, and thanked the producers on his way out the door.”

This isn’t the first time audio from a disclosed conversation from Kanye made its way online. In 2013, a “secret tape” recorded by someone at a dinner leaked online and featured West reacting to the VMA Taylor Swift incident, along with his thoughts on Pink and racism.
