Kanye Declares Bill Cosby Innocent, Ignites #KanyeIsCancelledParty Meme

  /  02.10.2016

Kanye has been on a tweeting spree this week in the lead up to his new album and the unveiling of the latest season of his fashion line.

Tonight (February 9), in a single, all caps tweet he declared that Bill Cosby is innocent.

Cosby, of course, has been dogged by allegations by multiple women that he drugged and sexually assaulted them across decades.

The entertainment mogul is due in a Pennsylvania court next month related to an incident stemming from 2004 where Cosby settled with a victim. The current state prosecutor is threatening to go after Cosby, despite a previous prosecutor reportedly promising there would be no criminal charges after the civil lawsuit.

But, that’s not all.

Social media struck back at ‘Ye quick with the hashtag #kanyeiscancelledparty, a harsh rebuke toward the rapper for his declaration, his recent rants about Nike and Puma, and his recent wavering over his album title.

Kanye’s next album, T.L.O.P. is due this week.
