Even while there is no concrete release date — besides an April 2016 confirmation — Drake’s Views From the 6 is near and, as per a few mysterious ads around Toronto, already making waves.
Following the recent release of “Summer Sixteen,” a Views teaser that has since debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 (No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop), Drake is now prepping his forthcoming LP with a few advertising spots around The 6.
Last night (February 9), Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport tweeted out a photo of the “6” logo along with an ad that may or may not reveal the album’s release date.
And in addition to the Billy Bishop tweet, Drake furthered the speculation with a message of his own via Instagram, where he posted a photo of a Views billboard.
With the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend games looming, fans should only expect more waves from the OVO captain as anticipation for his April release only gets bigger.
