A touchdown ahead of her Super Bowl performance!
Beyoncé take things down to New Orleans with “Formation,” to pay homage to her mother (and even shouts out her father) with a nod to her southern roots. The clip features King Bey and an assemblage of dancers parking lot pimpin’ in, well, formation, some Second Line work and strong imagery of flood scenes and funerals.
Undoubtedly, Blue Ivey’s cameo(s) took center stage, but Beyoncé’s lyrics are full of tough talk that will spread like fire on social media, including “Y’all haters corny with that illuminati mess/Paparazzi catch my fly and my cocky fresh.”
