For Amar’e Stoudemire, the phrase going “in the paint” is a duality that defines his two passions. There’s his professional NBA career, wherein he plays as a center for the Miami Heats, and then there’s his passion for the arts. All things considered, as an NBA star and avid avid art collector, Stoudemire dips and dabbles with both roles as part of his new initiative, aptly called the “In the Paint Series.”

Creating live art installation events for charity that centers on inspiring underprivileged youth, the campaign went on its second series recently in Chicago. Speaking to REVOLT, the athlete and entrepreneur spoke on the “In the Paint” series and its purpose. “It’s about giving back to the community, first and foremost. For me being an avid art collector and art lover I decided to team with a few of my favorite artists to give a spin on the whole art world.”
