NYPD Sergeant To Face Internal Charges In Eric Garner Death
A 14-year police vet was stripped of her badge and placed on desk duty.
Fourteen-year veteran Kizzy Adonis was placed on desk duty and will face department charges by the New York Police Department for her role in Eric Garner’s death, according to reports.
Details were scant, however, Adonis, will be charged with “four counts of failure to supervise,” as she was the most senior member of police arriving onto the scene where Garner was choked and died.
The man who applied the illegal chokehold on Garner, Daniel Pantaleo, is on desk duty like Adonis will be, but he has yet to face any charges.
