Dutch DJ Sidney Samson has had an interesting career, to say the least.

For a decade, the electronic producer has embraced all sub-genres in the culture, from house to electro to trap, beginning with one of his early breakout anthems, 2009’s “Riverside.” Samson then shifted his focus to producing some of dance pop’s biggest crossover records like Kelly Rowland’s “Commander” alongside David Guetta, “Get Outta My Way” with Kylie Minogue, Martin Solveig’s “Hello” and frequent collaborations with EDM/pop vocalist and wife, Eva Simons.

Weathering the swift evolution of electronic dance music around the globe, Sidney feels as though he’s finally hitting his stride and while his DJ sets cater to open format crowds, his passion for hip-hop continues to soar.

REVOLT sat down with Sidney where he detailed his many career changes, studio sessions with his wife and finally feeling like he’s found a lane all his own.
