The jury in one of the Freddie Gray cases is deadlock and has made a request to continue deliberations throughout this afternoon until tomorrow morning.

According to reports, the jury has yet to reach a consensus against William Porter, one of the officers allegedly responsible for Gray’s death. As of press time it’s unclear if there is a split or only some charges that the jury cannot agree on. Porter is facing charges of manslaughter, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and misconduct.

Gray died in police custody earlier this year, in April, after being arrested, and later suffering a spinal injury while being transported to a police station.
