When Adele came storming back on the scene with new music it was “Hello” that powered her record-breaking sales ascent. But song, with its soaring vocals and slow build, had some help. The video, which starred Mack Wilds, tugged at heart strings as the singer and actor portrayed the ups and downs of Adele’s failed relationship.

He said the visual was a matter of the opportunity meeting the right moment.

“I think that video, in particular, it was one of those rare moments where the stars align at the same time,” he told REVOLT. “Between Xavier, the director, who was amazing, and Adele being who she is, the immense talent that she is, and them calling me on to even help out. Everything was perfect in those four days to make that..it’s not even a music video, it’s lika a movie. So to make that movie happen, it was crazy.
