Watch The Trailer For Adele’s 'Live In New York City'

While just about everybody hoped to get one of those coveted tickets to see Adele live in the Big Apple, she’s here to offer the next best thing. The UK singer’s one-night only concert last month at Radio City Music Hall is set to premiere on NBC December 14, and now the network shares the trailer for the special, Adele Live In New York City.

The chilling teaser features a backstage look of the soul-singer getting ready behind the curtains, before emerging center stage on which her name and the new album title project on the backdrop. Though it marks the first time we’ve seen her perform material since the release of 25, the televised show follows her performance on November 17, just three days before the album debuted. Tickets for the show sold-out within minutes, which comes as no surprise after setting numerous records within the opening week.

The Londoner will hit the road for the first time in nearly five years, as she’s announced a string of UK and European dates beginning February 29 at SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
