Coldplay is scheduled to storm the 2016 Super Bowl halftime stage, and fans couldn’t be happier.
Being that timing is everything, and with the British rock giants new LP A Head Full of Dreams releasing tomorrow, it only makes sense. Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Johnny Buckland and Will Champion will make a notable tour stop on their forthcoming European and Latin America trek, to make their halftime show debut at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on February 7. Expect performances to many of Coldplay’s timeless hits “Yellow,” “Adventure of a Lifetime,” or even a possible duet with Beyonce for “Hymm on the Weekend.”
The news of the annual show, follows Katy Perry headlining performance last year, as she brought friends of her own to the show, Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott and Left Shark. Not to mention, joining the likes of collaborators Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and Bruno Mars.
Details and confirmation from the NFL are still pending, but in the meantime, stream A Head Full of Dreams LP via Apple Music tomorrow.
