Radiohead Bassist Confirms "Lots Have Been Recorded" For New Album

  /  10.16.2015

Legendary bassist and composer Jonny Greenwood gave an interview to a Russian radio station yesterday (October 15th), confirming that the band’s September recording sessions had been supremely productive.

In a Facebook post by Silver Radio in Russia, Greenwood was quoted as saying “we’re done recording a new album.” He also hinted that the band was “start[ing] to build plans for a concert tour in the next year.”

Once the news started filtering through the internet, Greenwood took to Twitter to clarify the “over enthusiastic” translation:

So it seems there’s no definitive word on when a new album will appear, or when you’ll be able to see one of the world’s best live bands on tour again. But rest assured these reclusive geniuses are working on something great.
