Run The Jewels, “Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)’

Following Adult Swim’s 19-week-long summer Singles release program, the network now shares a new track from Killer Mike and El-P’s Run the Jewels outfit. Titled, “Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite),” the single is the first take off the forthcoming ‘70s-era New York gang affiliated documentary “Rubble Kings,” due out October 30. The track begins with a man narrating the violence he’s witnessed in the streets, before the beat is distorted with rattling percussion and booming sirens to mirror the intensity.

Talib Kweli paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (October 5) to premiere and perform a new song from his upcoming collaborative album with Ninth Wonder, Indie 500. Joined by the Roots and Rapsody, Talib debuted “Every Ghetto” as a tribute to all the coverage of topics spanning from police brutality, gentrification and empowerment for our preceding generations.
