Kid Cudi is through with the critics and, quite frankly, cutting out all the bullshit.

As he prepares his upcoming album, Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven, Cudder made it clear today (October 6) that he’s aware of the anticipation built behind Man on the Moon 3, the project he promised in 2013 and teased with a prelude last year, as well as the expectations created on his first two albums (Man on the Moon: End of Day, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager). But for the many listeners expecting a return to form from the Cleveland star, who’s ventured off to newer musical terrain since those releases, think again. Better yet, give up.

Taking to Twitter, Cudi discussed his evolution and advised the following PSA: “ if you dont like what Im doin now, please abort the train. Do not buy my music from here on out. Its not for you.

In addition to confirming that “MOTM3 doesn’t exist,” Cudder explained that he is focused on bringing something refreshing to the table on every release, which happens to be what he’s done since 2012’s WZRD. This past weekend, he dropped two records (“Wedding Tux,” “Judgmental Cunt”) and they both fall in line with the progressive approach.

As the wait for SBTH continues, Cudi says the new album’s release date will arrive in two weeks. In the meantime, check out his public advisory below. Oh, and don’t say he didn’t warn you.
