UPDATE: The first four dates from Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming “Kunta Sessions” have been revealed, courtesy of Ticketmaster and Live Nation. See the dates below.

Kendrick Lamar is a man of few works, but when he speaks he delivers a mighty boom. The Compton rapper took to Instagram today to announce the first annual “Kunta’s Groove Sessions.” The event is being billed as eight intimate shows across eight nights in eight different locatons. Details are still TBD, but the post suggests music, dance, performances and more.

The following dates have been revealed, with four more others to come:

October 27 | The Tabernacle | Atlanta, GA

October 29 | South Side Music Hall | Dallas, TX

November 1 | Lincoln Theatre | Washington, D.C.

November 10 | Fox Theater | Oakland, CA
