Last month, Flying Lotus shared his latest feature project “FUCKKKYOUUU,” a short film that premiered earlier this year at Sundance’s NEXT Fest. Directed by Eddie Alcazar, the film is scored by the Brainfeeder mastermind and is shot on 16mm black and white reversal film.

The synopsis of the film offers: “With the ability to travel in time, a lonely girl finds love and comfort by connecting with her past self. Eventually faced with rejection she struggles with her identity and gender, and as time folds onto itself only one of them can remain.”

“FUCKKKYOUUU” comes after the news of his upcoming project with Shabazz Palaces and Thundercat, and follows his past experience in film from scoring Noomi Rapace’s short, as well as Imperial Dreams starring John Boyega, that debuted at Sundance.
