How many f-cks does Chris Brown give on the regular, you ask? Zero. After serving irresistible “Liquor,” the latest single off the upcoming album, Royalty , finds Brown having “Zero” worries over an electro funk backdrop. “Gave a hundred percent, but all I got from you, zero,” he sings about a girl, who he “thought was the one,” that ends up ditching him. Later he chides, “You think I’m still thinking about your ass?” The uptempo record is expected to appear on Brown’s upcoming seventh studio LP.

Joe Budden, “Slaughtermouse (Letter to Eminem)”**

With a title like All Love Lost, you should expect someone like Joe Budden to give nothing short of his all on the album set to arrive on October 16. And so, with a song like “Slaughterhouse,” he serves up the perfect teaser. Over Araabmuzik’s Olympian-esque production, Budden writes an open letter to his Shady Record capo Eminem for life advice. “My whole life I fought trauma like you / Had ups and downs with my baby mama like you / I had my fair share of transgressions like you,” he raps with palpable emotion. “Had a bad temper once and fought aggression like you… I beefed with Hov, 50, Game and Wu / Got in my own way a lot, I’m sure the same as you.” If Eminem doesn’t a response record to this, like Nas did on J. Meow the Jewels, “Oh My Darling Don’t Meow” (Just Blaze Remix)

Just when you thought it was safe, in comes Run the Jewels and they’re packing the meows.

Days after setting a new standard on the Late Show stage, the rap game’s Rock & Sock Connection grab Just Blaze and few feline drops for the remix to RTJ2’s “Oh My Darling Don’t Cry.” In a statement about the record and the soon-to-arrive LP, Meow the Jewels, the group advised that this is just “a little something to tide you over while we prepare next week’s announcement.” Oh my.
