Saturday Night Live‘s social activity was chirping today (September 1) when the first three musical performers for the new season were announced.

Leading the way is Miley Cyrus who will host and perform for the opener, October 3rd. Following the VMA host will be The Weeknd; the Canadian crooner will join host Amy Schumer. And Demi Lovato will perform when Tracy Morgan makes his return to 30 Rock on October 17th.
