Grimes Launches Eerie Organization With Nicole Dollanganger's 'Natural Born Losers'

  /  08.15.2015

While Claire Boucher is set to release the new album from Grimes, she’s not wasting any time bringing like-minded artists to the surface with her own artist co-operative. Launched as the Eerie Organization, Boucher has already signed her first artist, Nicole Dollanganger. The Canadian lo-fi bedroom pop singer sill release her first studio effort Natural Born Losers on October 9.

“It blew up my brain so hard that I literally started Eerie to f#@$&%$ put it out because it’s a crime against humanity for this music not to be heard,” said Boucher of Dollanganger’s music.

Eerie Organization went on to say in a press release:

Eerie Organization is an artist co-operative founded by Grimes that exists to help artists accomplish more than they would be able to on their own, without sacrificing any of their independence in the process. Although Eerie Organization will release music, it’s not a staffed record label and will not be accepting submissions. Eerie will be releasing Grimes’ upcoming album in Canada only. Future Eerie projects could take many forms, reflecting Grimes’ own mercurial, multidisciplinary approach to creativity.

Although Eerie Organization will be releasing music, it is not a staffed record label as of yet and will not be accepting submissions for future projects. But in the meantime, stream Dollanganger’s latest single “You’re So Cool” below.
