Hennessy champions future generations of Black entrepreneurs with new initiative

Entrepreneurs will receive funding and access to educational resources as part of the Never Stop Never Settle Society.

Hennessy is investing in Black entrepreneurs with their latest initiative. The popular cognac brand recently partnered with the Marcus Graham project to co-create the “Never Stop Never Settle Society (NSNSS).” This is a comprehensive growth accelerator dedicated to supporting future generations of Black entrepreneurs with high-impact funding, empowerment and education tools that will push the limits of their potential and help them to make an impact on the world.

As part of Hennessy’s latest initiative, 20 selected entrepreneurs will receive funding of $50,000 as well as access to The Gathering Spot Connect, a Black-owned private membership club, that serves as a networking hub and offers resources for education and business development.

The brand is also developing a co-working space at Moët Hennessy’s headquarters in New York City’s World Trade Center that will reportedly feature a content studio as well as additional resources, including educational programming and business mentorship from Moët Hennessy USA executives.

The Hennessy campaign is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to support the Black community and foster generational wealth. In an effort to kick things off the right way, the world’s best selling cognac tapped Grammy award-winning artist Nas to help with the project’s launch.

As REVOLT previously reported, the “Dear Destiny” commercial featuring the legendary Queensbridge emcee debuted earlier this year during the 52nd annual NAACP Awards. The content captures brand ambassador Nas as he recites a letter to his daughter, Destiny Jones, about Black excellence and his desires to see her build, rise and thrive as a successful Black entrepreneur.

“Destiny, believe in Black creativity, Black wealth, our potential, our people. Wherever Black folks dream, the spirit of Greenwood is there,” he said in the inspiring advertisement. “So find them, build with them, dream with them, be your own Black Wall Street however and wherever you imagine.”

Applications for the initial round of Hennessy’s Never Stop Never Settle Society campaign are currently closed, but you can sign up for more info on future opportunities here. Recipients of this first round will be announced in June and subsequently featured as members of the society’s inaugural class.
