Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is set to present his investigation findings surrounding the fatal police shooting of Breonna Taylor to a grand jury, WAVE 3 reports.

According to the outlet, the presentation is expected to take at least two days. The grand jury will then decide whether or not the officers who were involved in the shooting — Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison and Myles Cosgrove — will face any criminal charges.

The outlet also reports that the exhibition was originally supposed to take place this week, but was delayed. A representative for Cameron’s office said they would not comment on when the presentation would exactly begin.

On Wednesday (Sep. 9), Cameron released a statement on Twitter saying that the investigation was ongoing. “My office has endeavored since day one to find the truth and pursue justice, wherever that may take us and however long that may take,” his statement read.

“In the meantime, conflicting rumors and reports circulate on a daily basis,” the statement continued. “The rumors do nothing to advance justice. When the investigation concludes and a decision is made, we will provide an update about an announcement. The news will come from our office and not unnamed sources. Until that time, the investigation remains ongoing.”

Back in March, Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, was shot and killed after cops entered her home under a “no-knock” warrant. She was in bed with her boyfriend when the officers powered through her door. Her boyfriend fired a warning shot — after believing that the officers were intruders. They returned fire and Taylor was shot multiple times. She died shortly after.

None of the officers involved in the shooting have been arrested or charged for her death. Former Officer Hankison was fired from the department for his involvement in the incident. He has since appealed the termination.
