Tyler Perry used his personal plane to send aid to the Bahamas.

The TV and movie mogul promised to help those in the Bahamas who have been affected by Hurricane Dorian. According to CNN, Perry reportedly used his personal plane to ship water, hygiene items, sleeping bags, and other necessities down to the country’s hardest-hit areas.

According to TMZ, he made two trips to the Abaco Islands and reports say that he is looking to send more shipments to the island. Perry also brought back several passengers, including a number of children and a pregnant woman who was in need of medical attention.

Perry took to Instagram earlier in the week to reveal that he will help the island with rebuilding efforts once the storm passed. “To all the incredible people of the Bahamas who have welcomed me and called me an adoptive son, I want you to know that I am watching closely, and as soon as I can, I will be there to do whatever I can to help you rebuild stronger and better,” he wrote on Instagram. “You’re not only in my heart and my prayers, you’re in my blood. God bless you. Stay Bahamas strong. The sun will shine again”

The Wall Street Journal reports that Perry owns a 25-acre island in the Bahamas called White Bay Cay as well as a seven-acre island. He purchased both in 2009.

The storm hit the Bahamas last week, killing 43 people and leaving many displaced.

Ludacris has also revealed that he will be assisting the Bahamas following the devastation of Hurricane Dorian. He announced on Instagram that he will be donating more than $100,000 raised from his annual LudaDay Weekend to help with hurricane relief. “Over 100k Raised over The Weekend!! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT!! NOW WATCH ME WORK!!,” he said.
