Joyner Lucas is out here doing amazing things.
While posting to Instagram yesterday (Sept. 3), Lucas recalled going to the grocery store and witnessing a single mother that didn't have enough money to cover her bill. After almost returning her groceries, Lucas stepped in to cover her entire bill. Following the act of kindness, Lucas was inspired to keep up that same momentum for the rest of September.
"Today I seen a single mother in the grocery store trying to buy some food but didn't have enough. She almost had to put the food back until I stepped in. I took care of it. Fortunately I have been blessed and fortunate enough to help others. This prompted me to want to do something special this month specifically for single mothers," he wrote.
He continued, "I know there's a lot of you who struggle trying to do it on your own. A lot of fathers are absent and don't help. This month I'm giving away $500 a day for the whole month to all single mothers who need help with food."
Towards the end of his post, the "I'm Not Racist" spitter encourages single mothers to drop their cash app information. Moving forward, he will randomly pick a winner for his #HelpSingleMothersChallenge. In exchange, Lucas simply asks that the winners take a screenshot of the payment to show that he is a man of his word.
In other Joyner Lucas-related news, two months ago, Lucas offered to pay for the funeral of a fan who was fatally shot in Worcester. The young man was an aspiring rapper who went by the name of June Valentino. "I wanna pay for his funeral," Luas wrote after learning the tragic news. "If you know his family, have them reach out to Danny Diaz and I'll take care of it."
