ScHoolboy Q is ready for his acting debut.
Currently, 6ix9ine remains behind bars after testifying against his former crew associates, Anothony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack. In a series of tweets posted to his social media account on Sunday (Sept. 29), Q joked about wanting to tell 6ix9ine’s story.
“THe 6 9 movie gone be crazy... I Hope I get a role in it. I just wanna play one of tHe snitcHes,” Q wrote. “I can def get away wit playing 6 9 on da B.E.T Version.. I’m all in.”
The news regarding a 6ix9ine biopic comes at a critical time. More recently, 50 Cent hinted that he was “working” on the film. “You bought the rights to tr3yway 6ix9ine movie I’m hearing? This true,” One fan questioned. As a response, Fif wrote: “I’m working boy.”
In addition to 50, Snapchat is also looking to tell 6ix9ine’s story. More recently, they announced that the first season of their upcoming docuseries will focus on the rapper’s trial. Throughout the show’s duration, guest appearances will be made by Ebro Darden, Tory Lanez and more.
Following 6ix9ine’s trial, many members of the hip hop community have shared their thoughts on the situation. In the past, 50 explained that the 23-year-old is a snitch based on his plea deal arrangement.
“[RICO] laws were designed for you not to escape them. When I saw what I saw in the paper, I feel like he’s gonna tell on everything,” 50 said. “That was the part that wasn’t even in the indictment—the stuff that they’re saying that he’s talking about are not in the indictment so he’s offering that along with everything else, and then they added those new people to the indictment. I think [after he comes home from jail that he can make music and people can hear it, but the original core and base that he tapped into won’t rock.”
