It looks like Nicki Minaj’s retirement claims might’ve been a false alarm.

While posting to Instagram on Wednesday (Sept. 25), Minaj announced that she collaborated with PnB Rock. “@pnbrock ft Nicki Minaj & Murda Beatz – Midnight TONIGHT #Fendi @fendi,” she wrote as her Instagram caption.

On the Murda Beatz-produced track, the Queen rapper spits about her latest deal with Fendi and boasts about her love life. “It’s Fendi, it’s poppin’, and we on and poppin’, you b—hes is blockin’ the view / My hitters is knockin’, that 40 is cockin’, I see that you jackin’ the crew/ He already know what to do/ He already bought me the shoe / I tell him, ‘Yo, get me the bag,’ and I tell him to make sure that shit is a new,” she raps.

The announcement regarding new music comes as happy news to The Barbz. Earlier this month, Minaj announced her retirement from music. “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE,” Minaj posted to Twitter.

After fans nearly lost their mind, Minaj apologized for being insensitive. “I’m still right here,” Minaj wrote. “Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe.”

During a recent interview with Elle, the Pink Friday spitter hinted that she might drop a follow-up album to Queen after all. “It’s probably the most excited I’ve been about an album release in a really long time,” she said during the interview. “I’m happy that we’re not making my fans wait for another album like I’ve done in the past.”
