As it appears, what happens in Vegas, doesn’t stay there after all.

As TMZ reports, Dave East was charged with battery after a weekend in Las Vegas. According to the police report, East invited two women back to his room at the Delano hotel and had sexual relations with them. As East recalls, one woman was allegedly upset that she wasn’t given much attention and reacted in anger. As a result, the woman allegedly began hurling champagne bottles from across the room, which left cuts on East’s arm and leg.

As it turns out, the woman has a different version of the story. She claims that during the sexual encounter that she got into an argument with the rapper. The woman claims that East punched her five to six times. In her account of the story, the woman doesn’t’ mention throwing bottles. Other witnesses include another woman and one of East’s friends who entered the room once the argument started.

Both parties were cited for misdemeanor battery with no arrests. East’s attorney, Stacey Richman, released an official statement to REVOLT.

“The woman threw a soap dispenser and bottles of champagne at Dave,” Richman said. “One of the bottles shattered on the wall, sending glass flying and cutting Dave. Another bottle hit Dave with force in the head. The woman sought to continue her assault. Dave did not respond with violence. Instead Dave was concerned for everyone’s safety. Dave justifiably took the woman by the arm and put her out of the room. Dave did not assault anyone. He was ordered by his doctor to get CAT scan after the incident. We are waiting on the results. It was later learned that the woman had secreted Dave’s phones in her handbag.”

In other Dave East-related news, last month, he paid homage to Nipsey Hussle. While making an appearance at Tim Westwood TV, East delivered a heartfelt freestyle. For his lyrics, East recalled being inspired to start a clothing line and the desire to release a mixtape with the slain rapper.

“I’ma listen to your raps forever / On the real / F–k how they feel, Victory Lap was better,” he raps. “South Central ain’t never gonna feel the same / You got me scared ‘cause it ain’t too many of us left,” East spits while rapping over Pretty Ricky’s 2007 “On the Hotline” beat.
