A$AP Rocky is taking steps to return to his normal life.
Yesterday (Aug. 4), Rocky visited Mr. West's weekly Sunday Service. According to TMZ, Rocky wore a jacket while sporting a smile from ear to ear. The New York rapper was seen talking to model Kendall Jenner and the Chicago rapper. It's safe to assume that Rocky thanked West for his efforts while he was incarcerated in Sweden.
Last month, we reported that Kim Kardashian West and 'Ye were trying their best to help with Rocky's release. The couple got in touch with Jared Kushner. After hearing about Rocky's case, Kushner took the information to Trump to see what could be done.
"Thank you @realDonaldTrump, @SecPompeo, Jared Kushner & everyone involved with the efforts to Free ASAP Rocky & his two friends. Your commitment to justice reform is so appreciated," the KUWTK star wrote on Twitter.
On Aug. 14, Rocky will hear his fate regarding his assault trial. During the trial, prosecutors were fighting for a six-month jail sentence. If convicted, Rocky is looking at up two years in prison. Shortly after his release on Friday (Aug. 2), Rocky issued a statement to thank his fans for their continuous support during a difficult time.
"THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS I CANT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL OF YOU THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE I WANT TO THANK THE COURT FOR ALLOWING ME BLADI AND THOTO TO RETURN TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF THE LOVE AND SUPPORT" Rocky wrote on Instagram.
