Last year, Travis Scott took the world by storm when he realized his third studio album, Astroworld. While on Instagram yesterday (Aug. 3), Scott took a moment to reflect on his year-long journey.

“HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ASTROWORLD F–K YEAR LONG RIDE. BEEN BUMPING THIS S–T ALL DAY. LOVE TO U ALL. !!!” he wrote as his caption.

The 17-track LP featured guest appearances from Quavo, Takeoff, Don Toliver, Gunna, Kid Cudi, Nav, Sheck Wes, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, Swae Lee and more. Throughout the LP’s rollout, the Houston native released visuals for his tracks “SICKO MODE,” “YOSEMITE,” “STOP TRYING TO BE GOD” and “BUTTERFLY EFFECT.”

While speaking on the album, Scott revealed that he wants to continue to create music that evokes the same feeling Astroworld did.

“As life evolves, I feel more and more like I have to make these albums,” he said while speaking with 032c. “It’s more extensive. This album is kind of like what I want to do with music going forward, to be honest. Finding a balance between what you like and what your fans like is always a fight for an artist. But for this album, I kind of just let it be me. And I think the kids will rock with what I got in my brain. This is where my mind is at right now. And I feel like I’m pushing music 100 billion steps forward.”

More recently, the 28-year-old rapper starred in Young Thug’s visual for “The London” alongside J. Cole. The visual follows the three emcees as they handle their business behind closed doors. Scott and Cole are credited as creative directors for the video.

On the T-Minus-produced track, Scott spits a catchy chorus over the engrossing beat. “If you find time, we can run one/Talk about some things we can’t undo/You just send the pin, I can find you,” he raps.

Congrats to Travis Scott on the one-year anniversary of Astroworld. What was your favorite track off the LP?
