Nicki Minaj will soon have a new name.

Earlier this week, the 36-year-old spitter obtained her marriage license in Los Angeles. According to a new report from TMZ, Minaj plans to take Kenneth Petty's last name. Sources close to the couple tell the outlet that Minaj's official name will be Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty.

Unfortunately for The Barbz, Minaj has remained tight-lipped about details surrounding the wedding date. There are assumptions that Minaj might walk down the aisle very soon. In addition to that, the Queen rapper's closet friends have flown into Los Angeles this week. Minaj's mentor, Lil Wayne, also has a couple of days off from his Blink-182 tour. Sources are expecting that the "A Milli" rapper will be in Los Angeles on Saturday and Sunday, which might be the perfect day for a wedding.

More recently, Minaj thanked Wendy Williams for defending her relationship. Williams explained on her talk show that Minaj's fans should be happy that the Pink Friday musician has found happiness. Williams' comments come shortly after Minaj's Queen Radio segment where she talked about the backlash she's received over her relationship.

"When a person is with a n---a that loved them before they had a dime in their pocket? How do you not understand that? How do you not understand happiness vs clout?" Minaj said in reference to her haters.

Furthermore, Minaj has not been shy about expressing her happiness. She explained that Petty takes the time to massage her feet every night, which makes her feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

"Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought and he massages my feet and rubs them. He rubs each toe individually, and the heel and the ball of my foot—he does it all."
