Earlier this week, rumors circulated on social media that the legendary musician Stevie Wonder is on dialysis, battling a “serious but manageable” health issue. TMZ reports that the “All I Do” singer announced he is taking a break from tour to undergo a kidney transplant.

Wonder made the announcement during his set at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival in England. He revealed that he’s doing three more shows before going on hiatus ahead of the September procedure.

“I’m all good, I’m all good, I’m all good,” he said to the crowd after revealing that he’s already found a donor.

According to TMZ, the shocked crowd exploded in applause after Wonder ensured them he would be fine after taking the proper time to take care of his health. He said he wanted to share the news first to get ahead of the rumor mill.

The rumors began at the end of June when a Philadelphia radio personality said that the “Superstition” singer was suffering from kidney failure. His next show is reportedly in Dubland, Ireland on July 9.

We wish Stevie Wonder a speedy recovery.
