Cardi B has long mastered the art of capturing the attention of her fans on social media.

While her posts often feature her being unapologetically herself while ranting about something in a comical fashion, the Bronx native also knows the importance of balance like the true Libra she is.

Tuesday night (July 2), Cardi took to Instagram to raise awareness of those looking to run in the 2020 election, calling for her fans to tap in and get to know the Democratic hopefuls.

"If you was to have a chance to ask one of these Democratic candidates a question, what would that question be?" she muses in a video uploaded to Instagram.

After discussing how asking such questions really can make a difference in influencing the political landscape, much like silence does alternatively, Cardi decided to share what she would like to talk to those working to run for president about.

"If I was to ask my next president a question, I would like to ask: What are we going to do about police brutality?" she says. "It seems like it keeps on happening every single day and they are getting away with it. I would like to see a change. I would like to know if our next president even cares because it seems like the one we have right now doesn't."

To continue the conversation, the "Press" rapper asks her fans to participate in the comments and propose what changes they would like to see happen in their communities. She then adds that she is going on to propose making an attempt to "try and get those questions answered."

Factoring in Cardi B's celebrity status along with her self-professed obsession with politics, the 2020 Democrat hopefuls just may engage and help get a real dialogue going sparked by what she began on her personal social media.
