With so many new rap albums, mixtapes, EPs and songs dropping every week; knowing which ones are worth your time can be a challenge. But no worries, we’ll help smooth out the process with “Now N’ Laters,” a column that highlights the hottest new releases of the week and the songs you’ll want to listen to now — and later.

This week’s lineup of new releases include an album from the current king of R&B, one of the hottest producers in the game, and one of the premier voices of the streets. Maintaining the energy of his previous extended offering, Chris Brown returns with his latest LP, Indigo. Mustard presents a ten-track collection with Perfect Ten, which is full of high-octane bangers and seismic collaborations. And last, but certainly not least, Freddie Gibbs and DJ Mustard connect for the follow-up to their critically acclaimed Pinata album with Bandana.

With all three releases getting airplay and dominating the conversation, REVOLT shares our critics’ picks for the three songs from each album that stand a cut above the rest and should be in your heavy rotation now — and later. Be sure to let us know what your favorites are.

Produced by Cardiak and Hitmaka, the instrumental draws listeners to the bedroom, as Breezy and Gabi give us the happy ending we’ve all been waiting for.

“Temporary Lover”
