As a lifelong supporter of all things Toronto, all eyes were fixated on Drake throughout the duration of the 2019 NBA Finals as his beloved Raptors duked it out against the Golden State Warriors.

From fending off critics not amused by his courtside behavior to putting aside his trolling tendencies to send well wishes to Kevin Durant after the Warriors player suffered an injury, Drake has been incredibly invested in this year’s championships.

So much so, that in celebration of his hometeam snagging the W, he’s gearing up to release new music.

After downing champagne and jumping around in excitement with players from the Raptors after the game ended, the 6 God took to Instagram to react to the victory, doing so understandable in all capital letters.

“The chip to the 6! See you tomorrow with a 2 Pack lets go,” he captioned his post, sharing a photo of a championship trophy along with the words, “Omerta” and “Money in the Grave” featuring Rick Ross.

At the time of this report, the Raptors ambassador has not yet dropped the two new songs, nor given fans an estimated time of arrival.

While his favorite time has finally won a championship, fans of the artist wondered aloud whether or not the infamous “Drake curse” has finally ended. For the uninitiated, after Drake would repeatedly pose with players, their teams would love shortly thereafter.
