Kanye West reportedly said he's "not allowed to mention" Drake or his family

The Chicago rapper opened up about his feud with Drizzy in a new interview.

Kanye West is currently celebrating the birth of his son, Psalm West, but the Chicago artist recently revealed there's one celebrity whose family he can't discuss.

According to The Daily Beast, at one point during his upcoming sit down with David Letterman for Netflix's "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction," Yeezy mentions his 2018 feud with Drake. The topic reportedly comes up while West's breaks down the positive and negative influence of hip hop.

"An artist which I will not mention because I'm not allowed to mention him or any of his family members," West told the former late-night host. Letterman called the statement "provocative" which reportedly prompted the 41-year-old to explain he had a "little beef" with the Toronto native last year.

As previously reported, West accused Drake of threatening his family last December. In a series of tweets, West claimed their feud began after he failed to clear a sample Drake requested for "Say What's Real," a song from his 2009 mixtape, So Far Gone. West also refuted the popular rumor that he was the one who told Pusha T, president of GOOD Music, that Drake welcomed a child in private in October 2017.

There were also reports that Drake unfollowed Kim Kardashian on Instagram during the ongoing feud and Kardashian herself even chimed in with her thoughts.

In his interview with Letterman, West reportedly praises Drizzy's pen, saying, "He has this line that I love that says, 'I told my story and made history'—like made his story and made history. That's what we do, we tell our story and then people relate to that story."

In the hour-long episode, which is set to air on Friday (May 31), the Yandhi rapper also opens up about his bipolar disorder and his support for President Trump. Watch a preview of the interview that's sure to get everyone talking ahead.
