Trey Songz certainly knows how to get everyone's attention.

On Thursday (May 16), the Virginia native disrupted social media when he posted a cryptic photo of his hand holding a baby's foot. The caption, a blue heart emoji, further added to the speculation behind whose child is pictured.

To add even more fuel to the fire, the 34-year-old vocalist added a photo of the unidentified baby laying on his chest. This time around, he didn't add any caption or clue whatsoever, sending fans into a frenzy in the comment section.

As expected, many are taking to social media to weigh in on whether or not the baby marks Songz's firstborn child, or if he is merely babysitting and being an internet troll.

As shown in the comments on his post on Instagram, one popular fan theory is that the baby is a throwback photo from his nephew's birth. However, others are claiming that they're actually the mother of Trey's first baby. Naturally, the whole situation is as entertaining as it confusing.

While the hitmaker and heartthrob hasn't confirmed whether or not the baby is his son, celebrities such as Kehlani and DJ Clue have weighed in to offer their congratulations.

As noted by HotNewHipHop, rumors have been flying that an adult actress named Brittany Jones got pregnant from the singer while he was in a relationship with Lori Harvey. Either way, such a statement remains unconfirmed while other theories and outrageous claims continue pouring in.

Recently, Drake showed love to Trey Songz while reflecting on his career and celebrating his forthcoming album in tandem. During his nostalgic collage of throwbacks, Drizzy shared a screenshot of old DMs with him and Songz, dating back to 2009. As exemplified by Drake's receipts, Songz slid in his private messages to send over his BlackBerry information. What a time.

Take a look at Trey Songz confusing his fans and possibly igniting a breakout of baby fever in the posts below.
