Nipsey Hussle's bodyguard is paying his respects to the slain rapper.
"Never in a million years I thought I would be writing some s—t like this," he began. "We haven't made a 100 Million yet. We [were] supposed to grow old and I call u big nose shoot jokes on you all day... but instead, I'm here in tears writing this."
J Roc continued, "I wish I was there. I would switch places with you any day. The world [needs] you here. I'm so confused, lost, [and] hurt. I lost a brother, best friend, [and] a mentor." He went on to announce his retirement, but not before vowing to protect Hussle's two children and his girlfriend Lauren London. "I'm done with all this s—t," he declared, adding, "I love you HUSSLE THA GREAT."
On Thursday (April 4), TMZ revealed J Roc was one of the people in Hussle's inner circle who rushed to the hospital on Sunday (March 31) after receiving the devastating news the Los Angeles native was gunned down in front of his clothing store. London, YG, DJ Mustard, Dom Kennedy, Karen Civil, and actresses Malika and Khadijah were also reportedly at the hospital with Hussle's brother Sam and other immediate family members when they learned of his passing.
Sources told the site everyone waited around "for hours" after hearing the news, praying and trying to console each other. The L.A. County Medical Coroner report later confirmed the 33-year-old rapper died from gunshot wounds to his head and torso.
The same day J Roc shared his heartbreaking tribute to Hussle, LAPD apprehended Eric Holder. The 29-year-old is believed to be responsible for his murder.
