The cast of "In Living Color" set to reunite at Tribeca Film Festival

Here's your chance to watch the pilot with some of the show's stars.

20th Century Fox Television

Twenty-five years after the final episode of "In Living Color" aired on Fox, some of the cast from the hit sketch comedy show is reuniting at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in April.

The show, created by Keenen Ivory Wayans, ran for five seasons between 1990-1994 and launched the careers of several stars including David Alan Grier, Jim Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Coles and of course, Keenen's siblings Kim, Damon, Shawn and Marlon.

Twenty-nine years after "In Living Color" joined Fox's Sunday night line-up, the film festival will air the pilot as part of their Tribeca TV initiative that will celebrate television shows' anniversaries for the first time ever. "The Simpsons" will also celebrate their 30th anniversary at the festival.

Following the screening, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Kim Wayans, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier and Rosie Perez will participate in a panel about the show's impact and legacy in entertainment. Davidson expressed his excitement for the mini-reunion on Twitter.

"You wanted it, we're bringin' it," he tweeted. "Thrilled to bring the reunion of #InLivingColor to the fourth annual edition of TribecaFF's TV spotlight weekend at #Tribeca2019."

"Twenty-five years after its finale, the cast and creator of the groundbreaking sketch comedy show 'In Living Color' will reunite to reflect on the Emmy Award-winning show that upended the landscape of television comedy and launched the careers of some of the greatest entertainers of our time," the Tribeca announcement stated.

Back in 2011, there were talks of a reboot with a new cast including Jermaine Fowler, Kali Hawk and Lil Rel Howery. The pilot was executive produced and hosted Keenen Ivory Wayans, however, in 2013 Wayans confirmed the reboot was canceled by Fox because the network didn't believe the show would last more than one season.

The screening and panel April 27 at the Tribeca Festival Hub.
