Kanye West and adidas are celebrating the release of the YEEZY Boost 700 V2 "Geode" by giving back.

On Friday (Mar. 22) Yeezy and the sneaker company teamed up with families in Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Cedar Rapids, IA, and five other cities to host YEEZY Boost lemonade stands, a pop-up shop where fans can get their hands on the new sneakers—a day before they were officially released nationwide—for $300 a piece. Ye and his family personally hosted their own stand in Calabasas.

All of the proceeds from the pop-up are being donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. The charity—hand picked by the "I Love It" rapper—is the "largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness."

In 2018, West revealed that he was diagnosed with a "mental condition" at the age of 39 and called it a "superpower" on his song "Yikes." In an interview with Big Boy, Kanye expressed how making music is an outlet for him.

"I'm so blessed and so privileged," he said, "because think about people that have mental issues that are not Kanye West, that can't go and make that [album] and make you feel like it's all good."

Meanwhile, fans are patiently awaiting the release of Kanye's highly anticipated album, Yandhi. While the "Good Life" rapper is busy with his weekly "Sunday Service," engineer Kevin Celik revealed a few details about the project when he appeared on "The Lunch Table" podcast.

"There's a song on the album called 'New Body' and Nicki Minaj is on it," Celik said. "It's Kanye, Nicki and Ty Dolla $ign [and] it's Kim K-inspired for sure."

Celik also said that the album is about "women's empowerment" and promises that it will "shake the game up this year."
