TMZ broke the exclusive news on Thursday (March 21). A close source told the site Sparks is due "this Summer, sometime in July." YG already has a 3-year-old daughter with Sparks named Harmony. The couple has already started planning for their latest bundle of joy as well. According to TMZ, YG and Sparks created baby registries at Buy Buy Baby and Target for family and friends to purchase items such as "strollers, pacifiers, baby bottles, a rubber duckie."
YG's longtime musical collaborator and producer, DJ Mustard, is also expecting a baby this year with his fiancée, Chanel Thierry. The longtime couple is prepared to give birth "very soon." Sparks and Chanel have leaned on each other for support by attending maternity classes together, TMZ reports. Both are the proud parents of 3-year-old girls.
Life has indeed been busy for YG lately. Most recently, the 29-year-old made headlines for confronting a fan who didn't sing along to his anti-Trump anthem at a concert in Tempe, Arizona. Earlier this year, YG hopped on the remix to Blueface's breakout hit, "Thotiana". The song eventually cracked the top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100. He's also included on the official remix with Cardi B.
In August 2018, YG dropped his third studio album, Stay Dangerous. The LP debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart and received mixed reviews. The West Coast rapper teamed up with 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj for his second single, "Big Bank" which peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Fans can expect to catch YG at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival headlined by Ariana Grande on Sunday (April 14) and Sunday (April 21). Congrats again to YG and Sparks!
