Soulja Boy is out of jail after being arrested Friday morning (Mar. 15) for a probation violation after police reportedly found ammo and firearms in his home.
According to TMZ, Soulja was released after a court appearance on his own recognizance.
Following his release, Big Drako hopped on Instagram Live to vent about his brief time behind bars. The impromptu Instagram Live session obviously made Drako feel better because by the end he was laughing.
"Jail tags and all that … no jury, no nothing," he said at the beginning of the rant. "What the fuck you talkin' bout? I'm out! The fuck you talkin' bout? I'm out! I just got out of jail right now. The fuck you talking bout? And I'm performing at the motherfucking Clippers game so be there at the motherfucking Clippers game … This shit ain't gonna stop, bro."
"Y'all got me fucked up. I had the biggest comeback of 2019," he continued. "They try to lock me up and hate on me. Y'all got me fucked up. No jewelry. No chain … I just got out jail right now. I was in the county. My partner pulled up on me … Big Drako. I'm out of jail! This shit ain't gonna stop … I'm not going out like 6ix9ine. Bro, you got me fucked up! You got me fucked up [laughs]."
Following his arrest, rumors circulated that Big Soulja's performance at the critical Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Clippers game at the Staples Center. However, the "Crank That" rapper performer ran through his hits and new tracks during the halftime show in a custom Clippers jersey.
After the performance, Soulja posted himself in his Clippers jersey and joked about signing to the team. "I signed a 30 million dollar deal with the @laclippers first rapper to play in the NBA." Fans quickly corrected him and informed Soulja that the first rapper to get signed to an NBA team was Master P.
He also thanked his girlfriend Tiona Fernan for being by his side, stating that "those 'I got your back' females" are hard to find.
