Cardi B bagged another win at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday night (March 14).

The "Please Me" rapper took gold the trophy for Hip Hop Artist of the Year beating out the likes of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Travis Scott. Cardi also took home the award for Best Collaboration for her "Finesse (Remix)" with Bruno Mars adding to her already impressive collection of awards this year. As you'll recall in February, the Bronx native took home the gold for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys, becoming the first female solo artist to ever do so.

Cardi, who scored 13 iHeartRadio nominations — the most of the evening — was unable to attend the award show ceremony in person this year, but she did take time out to pre-record a special acceptance speech for her Hip Hop Artist of the Year win. "I'm sorry, iHeartRadio, that I couldn't make it. I was busy doing a couple [of] things," Cardi confessed. "But I just want to say thank you so much to all my fans, to all my supporters, and to all my haters," she continued.

"You know, I gotta thank my haters, you know what I'm saying. 'Cause y'all be saying mean things and y'all be thinking that those mean things is gonna discourage me but that just makes me go harder," the 26-year-old said. "Cause if everybody gives me compliments, then I get comfortable."

In January, Cardi revealed she's currently hard at work on her sophomore album, the follow-up to her 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy. The Grammy Award-winning LP was met with critical acclaim and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart selling 255,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. In October 2018, the album was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

If her career has been any indication, the new music will likely bring on even more awards for the hilariously outspoken rapper. Congrats again, Cardi!
