The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for YBN Almighty Jay.

Just a week after turning himself into LAPD over a felony theft case, the 19-year-old rapper found himself in more hot water when he was viciously attacked in New York City on Friday (March 8). The scary incident took place at midnight inside the lobby of a residential building, TMZ reports.

Almighty Jay was jumped by several men and robbed for his chains after attempting to flee from the scene. According to TMZ, the Texas native was stabbed several times with a blade and suffered "head and facial lacerations" when one of his assailants smashed a Hennessy bottle over his head. He reportedly received 300 stitches over his injuries.

Earlier that day, rapper Lil TJay and his entourage reportedly engaged in a brawl with Almighty Jay and his crew outside of a Saks Fifth Avenue store. A verbal altercation inside the shop escalated into a street fight and resulted in Almighty Jay losing possession of his YBN chain, his wallet, and shoes. Although police were called, neither parties reported a crime.

Almighty Jay also refused to cooperate with law enforcement over the midnight attack which left him which a huge stab wound on his face, TMZ reports. The alleged attackers — Zae Numbafive and his crew — flaunted Almighty Jay's stolen items, including his chains, ID and shoes, in a music video which has since been removed. Police are still investigating, but Lil Tjay and Numbafive have both denied any involvement in the attack or robbery.

Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J. Prince put out a call for anyone to come forward with information on Numbafive, who he believes is behind the attack on Almighty Jay. The rising rap star is signed to his record label. "They recently bragged about robbing the artist YBN Almighty Jay, who I'm invested in. They've robbed him of his money and jewelry, including a Rap-A-Lot piece. So therefore they have robbed a piece of me," he reportedly stated. Prince also warned that if no one came forward it would be "a recipe for disaster."

On Tuesday (March 12), Almighty Jay released a new song and video titled "Let Me Breathe" addressing all of the recent headlines, including his alleged theft case, his recent attack, and his former relationship with Blac Chyna. Watch it for yourself ahead.
