Last week as hip-hop came together in Atlanta for Super Bowl festivities, Bow Wow found himself in some major legal trouble after he, along with ex-girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie, was arrested for felony battery.

According to the 911 call released by TMZ, Leslie was locked in a bedroom without her cellphone after Bow allegedly hit her multiple times. When authorities arrived, Bow claimed that Leslie was the aggressor in the situation and assaulted him. Because officers couldn’t identify the primary aggressor, and they both had “visible minor injuries,” they were both arrested and charged with battery.

Now, TMZ has released surveillance footage of the two in an elevator just before the altercation took place, and it shows Bow Wow as the aggressor in the situation.

In the video, filmed at the apartment complex where the alleged dispute took place, Bow can be seen forcefully snatching something from Leslie’s hands, and aggressively belittling her in her face. There were two other people in the elevator at the time, with one passively trying to step in between Bow and Leslie before thing escalated.

Both Leslie and Bow were arrested and released separately on an $8k bond. After the incident Bow Wow’s attorney, Joe S. Habachy, issued a statement claiming that Leslie was the aggressor and Bow was “beaten by an out-of-control intoxicated female.” They are expected back in court in a few weeks.

Following their arrests, TMZ reported the incident occurred because Leslie was talking to another man at a party. Bow Wow reportedly confirmed the story to TMZ, and added she called him a “bitch ass n ** a.”

After the altercation, Bow Wow continued his Super Bowl weekend without a hitch, as he was seen leaving Magic City Strip Club the night after his arrest. “The lawyer said I can’t talk,” he told TMZ. Meanwhile, Leslie is clapping back at people that don’t believe her side of the story. “Most of the hate is coming from women who have daughters,” she posted on Instagram Stories.
